Steeping Suggestions for Different Teas

Did you know that there are different temperature settings for certain teas?

Well here are suggested guidelines and temperatures for tea.

Black Tea -  Heat water until boiling (212 F). Steep for 3 - 5 mins
Ooolong  - Heat water until boiling ( 212F) Steep for 3 -5 mins ( oolong leaves traditionally are used 3 times)
Pu-erh - Heat water until boiling (212F). Steep for 5 - 15 mins.
Green -  Heat water until just before boiling ( 180F) Steep 30 sec to 2 mins)
White - Heat water until just before boiling ( 180F) Steep 30 sec to 2 mins)

We have  kettles at My Sereni-Tea that gives us the different temperature settings, so we boil to the right temperature for your tea!
